Christmas at the Castle

Dublin • Dublin Castle

Dublin's only Bavarian-style Christmas market, held in the historic grounds of Dublin Castle. Features traditional alpine stalls, mulled wine, a vintage carousel, and live music. The State Apartments are also open for self-guided tours during market hours.

Galway Christmas Market

Galway • Eyre Square

Now in its 15th year, the Galway Christmas Market transforms Eyre Square into a winter wonderland with over 50 wooden chalets offering seasonal treats, festive beverages, crafts and gifts. The market features family attractions including a 32-meter Big Wheel, traditional carousel, Santa's Express Train, German Bier Keller, and enchanted light gardens. Last year attracted over 450,000 visitors during its six-week run.
