Located directly on the waterfront with stunning views of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains, this Christmas market offers a magical atmosphere where light-decorated trees reflect beautifully in the water. The market features a diverse culinary landscape with food vendors offering regional Swiss specialties alongside international cuisine, all available in cozy hüttengassen (hut lanes) with covered seating areas for comfortable dining even in inclement weather. The centerpiece Fondue Chalet serves multiple varieties of traditional Swiss cheese fondue paired with carefully selected wines, perfect for gathering with friends and family. Visitors can browse the Gschänkli Market featuring handcrafted gifts and design items from rotating weekly vendors, with an expanded Mini-Market operating on weekends offering even more unique treasures.
