Set along the grand Cours Mirabeau, Aix-en-Provence's Christmas market transforms the city's most celebrated boulevard into a festive promenade of traditional wooden chalets running from mid-November through December 31. Organized by the City of Aix-en-Provence, the market brings together around fifty artisans, craftspeople, and local producers beneath a sparkling canopy of holiday lights that illuminates the entire avenue each evening from late November onward. Shoppers and strollers alike will find an impressive range of Provençal specialties and handcrafted gifts, from locally made santons (traditional clay nativity figurines) to artisan ceramics, toys, and seasonal decorations.
