The Marché de Noël d'Amiens has claimed the title of the largest Christmas market in northern France since its founding in 1997, drawing visitors each year with over 100 red chalet-style stalls stretching across 2 kilometers of illuminated pedestrian streets through the heart of Amiens. Organized by the Fédération des Commerçants du Centre-Ville d'Amiens, the market winds from Place René Goblet through Rue des 3 Cailloux and Place Gambetta all the way to Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, transforming the city center into a festive village for more than five weeks each winter. The market's centerpiece attraction is the nightly Chroma light show projected onto the façade of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Gothic cathedral, creating a spectacular free spectacle for all visitors.
