The Corkmas Christmas Market at Emmet Place is Cork City Council's flagship festive event, transforming one of the city centre's most prominent public squares into a charming Christmas village each November and December. Organized as part of the broader Corkmas celebration, the market brings together a carefully curated mix of local vendors housed in traditional wooden chalets, creating an atmosphere that blends Irish community spirit with classic European Christmas market charm. Visitors to the Corkmas Christmas Market can browse an eclectic range of artisan crafts and handmade gifts, from lovingly crafted Irish jewellery and bespoke hand-printed ornaments to colourful knitwear, personalized keepsakes, and 3D-printed novelties. The food and drink offering is equally varied — warm up with a cup of Glühwein, grab a freshly grilled Bratwurst, indulge in crispy waffles, cheesecakes, jacket potatoes, or sweet fudges, and wash it all down with a specialty coffee from a local mobile roaster.
