Norwegian Christmas Market

The Norwegian Christmas Market at the Norwegian Seamen's Church in Rotterdam offers a Scandinavian Christmas in the heart of the Netherlands. The church, a wooden building in Het Park with traditional woodcarvings and paintings in warm, natural colours, fills with stalls selling Norwegian sweaters and knitwear, salmon and Christmas decorations. Adults and children walk around in Norwegian traditional dress, and there is a place to sit down for coffee with a Norwegian waffle. It is one of three Scandinavian Christmas markets in Rotterdam, together with the Danish market at the Danish Seamen's Church and the Finnish one at the Finnish House, held over two weekends in November.
