West Side Christmas Market transforms Drumul Taberei Park into Bucharest's largest and most enchanting Christmas theme park, opening first among the capital's holiday markets. Organized by UNTOLD Universe in partnership with Sector 6 City Hall, this fourth-edition market has earned recognition as one of Romania's most beautiful Christmas destinations. The centerpiece is an impressive 8-meter natural Christmas tree that will be replanted after the holidays, demonstrating environmental consciousness alongside festive celebration. Visitors can enjoy a generous 600-square-meter ice skating rink, a towering 33-meter Ferris wheel offering panoramic views, and traditional carousels that delight children and adults alike. The market features 90 vendor stalls housed in charming wooden chalets, offering traditional Romanian dishes, international cuisine, mulled wine, and artisan crafts. A unique heated 260-square-meter pontoon provides a comfortable viewing area with DJ entertainment, creating an elevated experience for adults. Children can visit Santa's House, participate in creative workshops at the Elves' Workshop, and experience virtual reality journeys to Laponia. Evening entertainment includes live concerts from beloved Romanian artists like Direcția 5, Fuego, and Irina Sârbu, along with spectacular light shows and fireworks. The market is easily accessible via metro (Drumul Taberei Park station), tram line 41, and multiple bus routes, making it convenient for both locals and tourists to experience the magic.
