Set against the futuristic backdrop of Valencia's iconic City of Arts and Sciences complex, the Mercado de Navidad en la Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències transforms the Paseo de Arbotantes into a festive wonderland running from December 12 through January 6. With around 50 artisan stalls lining the promenade at the foot of the Science Museum, this Christmas market pairs stunning architectural surroundings with a rich program of activities that appeals to visitors of all ages. Shopping at the market means browsing charming, decorated stalls offering handcrafted gifts, seasonal products, ornaments, and traditional crafts — including live demonstrations of artisan trades adapted to the Christmas theme. A dedicated Solidarity Corner hosts NGOs and associations, giving the market a meaningful community dimension. Food trucks and a themed gastronomy zone keep visitors fueled with festive bites and drinks throughout the day. Families with children will find an especially full program: daily creative workshops (candle-making, soap crafting, painting, and more) run in two sessions each day, while a Christmas playroom with puzzle tables provides additional entertainment. Storytelling sessions, face painting, and a Living Nativity Scene add to the festive atmosphere across select dates. Santa Claus's cozy house collects children's letters on December 23–24, and a royal emissary gathers letters for the Three Wise Men on January 4–5. Paid attractions include a classic merry-go-round carousel, a Trans-Siberian ride, a 360° photobooth, and painting workshops for nutcracker soldiers and nativity figurines.
