The Liège Christmas Village (Village de Noël de Liège) is Belgium's oldest Christmas market, spreading its festive magic across the heart of the city for over 38 years. Spanning from Place Saint-Lambert and Place du Marché to Place de la Cathédrale and the esplanade in front of the Opéra, this sprawling celebration draws 1.5 million visitors from across Europe each season. With more than 200 timber chalets and 300 artisans, the market offers an extraordinary mix of local Walloon craftsmanship, Germanic holiday traditions, and gourmet delights.
