Tucked into one of eight festive locations spread across Freiburg's charming Old Town, the Weihnachtsmarkt Freiburg at Predigertor invites visitors to experience the magic of a traditional Black Forest Christmas market in a historic urban setting. The Predigertor — named after the medieval Preacher's Gate — provides an atmospheric backdrop that blends centuries of Freiburg history with the warmth and glow of the holiday season. As part of the broader Freiburg Christmas Market, the Predigertor location connects seamlessly with the other market sites, including the Rathausplatz, Kartoffelmarkt, Franziskanerstraße, Unterlindenplatz, Turmstraße, Rotteckring, and Colombipark, creating a festive walking trail through the entire inner city.
